Samsung Starts Rolling out Galaxy S8/ S8+ Stable Android Oreo Update

A good number of OEMs accept started rolling out the stable Oreo update for their smartphones lately. OnePlus was amidst the first OEMs to push the stable Oreo update to its flagship devices. And now, Samsung is finally playing catchup with other manufacturers and has started the rollout.

Following the rollout of stable Oreo update for Galaxy Note 8 last month, the company has finally started the update process for Milky way S8/ S8+ starting with its customers in Europe. Co-ordinate to German language site AllAboutSamsung, is now rolling out to the customers who had enrolled in the beta plan. It is at present expected that the full scheduled rollout will kick-start afterward this week.

Update: It looks similar Samsung has started seeding the update to Milky way S8 users in Republic of india. The Galaxy S8 at Beebom has received the update and here's the full changelog:

The update weighs in at 487MB for those who're already on the Oreo beta build. Nevertheless, the file size will be considerably larger who the users making a switch from Nougat.
